Your data and choices

NBA Schedule Privacy Policy

A plain-English explanation of the information involved when you browse games, download a schedule or send a correction—and the choices available to you.

Effective and last updated: August 15, 2026

Privacy at a glance

Use the public schedule tools without creating an account

No schedule account required

Browsing, local-time conversion, printing, calendar links and downloads do not require an NBA Schedule account.

No GPS request

Automatic time display uses the timezone reported by the browser, not precise GPS coordinates.

No payment collection

These schedule tools do not ask for card or bank details. Do not send sensitive account information by email.

Information involved when you use the site

When you browse a page

Like most websites, basic visit details may be kept for a limited time, such as the page opened, visit time, IP address, browser or device type and referring page. This helps protect the site and keep it working reliably.

When you generate a file

The selected team, date range, filters, format and timezone are sent to the server to build the requested PDF, spreadsheet, JSON or calendar file. The generated file is returned to your browser.

When you email us

The sender address, message, page links and attachments are used to review and respond to the correction or support request.

Timezone privacy

What automatic timezone detection actually does

Detected in the browser

The page asks the browser for a timezone name such as America/New_York and converts game times locally.

Not saved as a preference

The current schedule script does not retain your selected timezone in local storage. Detection runs again when a page loads.

Sent only when an export needs it

For timezone-formatted downloads, the selected timezone is included in the generation request so the server can write the correct local times.

Cookies, advertising and similar technologies

Advertising is enabled for this deployment. Advertising providers may use cookies, pixels or similar technologies to deliver, measure or personalize ads under their own privacy policies. Required notices and choices should be presented where applicable.

Basic application infrastructure may use a necessary cookie when a feature requires a server session. You can block or delete cookies using browser settings, although doing so can affect features that depend on them.

Third-party content and links

Pages can display team-logo images from remote hosts and link to league, team, broadcaster, calendar, ticket or support services. Loading or opening a third-party resource can disclose ordinary request information to that provider, and the provider's own privacy terms apply.

This policy covers NBA Schedule pages and tools, not the websites, apps or accounts operated by third parties.

Your practical privacy choices

Browser controls

Block or remove cookies, limit third-party content and use browser privacy settings that fit your needs.

Email requests

Ask about or request deletion of a correction email you sent, subject to security, legal and operational retention needs.

Sensitive information

Do not email passwords, full payment details, government identifiers or private NBA and broadcaster account information.

Privacy contact and policy changes

Send privacy questions to [email protected]. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

Quick answers

NBA Schedule privacy FAQ

Do I need an account to use the NBA schedule tools?+

No. Public schedule, timezone, print, calendar and download tools can be used without creating an NBA Schedule account.

Does automatic timezone detection reveal my exact location?+

No. The browser supplies a timezone name such as America/Chicago for on-page conversion; the site does not request GPS location. When you generate a file, the selected timezone is sent as a request parameter so the server can format the export.

Does NBA Schedule save my timezone preference?+

No. The current schedule script does not retain the timezone choice in local storage; automatic detection runs again in the browser when a page loads.

Does NBA Schedule use cookies?+

Advertising is enabled for this deployment, so advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. Basic application infrastructure may also use necessary cookies where a feature requires them.

What happens when I email a correction?+

The email address, message and any source links you provide are used to review and respond to the request. Do not include passwords, payment details or sensitive account information.
